Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two time world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
